Tarantino Eye Center is 15 Years Old this December!

In December of 1997, Dr. Tarantino, with the help of just 1 employee, decided to open up a comprehensive ophthalmology practice on Crain Highway in Glen Burnie.  On his first day in practice, Dr. T saw just 4 patients in his small office with one single exam room.  Many of our veteran patients will remember our tight quarters and the nearly closet-sized office that Brenda, our office manager, used.

We’ve come a long way since then. We welcomed Dr. Cho in 2006 and Dr. Burroughs just earlier this year, we’ve gone from 1 exam room to 10, and we finally have our own optical shop.

Our staff has grown too. We are now a second home for nearly 20 fantastic employees, to whom we owe much of our success.  Our staff members excel in their positions, and patients are constantly complimenting the warm, yet professional nature of our staff.  We are sure they are one of the reasons why our patients keep coming back.

However, no practice could ever truly succeed without the loyalty and support of the community.  Our patients have a habit of telling their friends, family members, and co-workers to come see us too, which is the main reason we have been able to grow and thrive.  We are deeply grateful for your support over the last 15 years.
