Dr. Tarantino is the president and founder of Tarantino Cho Eye Center. He is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellow of the American College of Surgeons. After graduating magna cum laude from Loyola College, Dr. Tarantino went on to earn his medical degree, cum laude, from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. As a medical student, he served as class president and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He later went on to his ophthalmology residency at the Louisiana State University Eye Center where he was appointed chief resident. He is currently the chief of ophthalmology at Baltimore Washington Medical Center and has been voted “Top Doc” by both Baltimore Magazine and What’s Up Annapolis. Dr. Tarantino specializes in cataract surgery and has performed many thousands of successful operations.
Dr. Tarantino enjoys both playing and watching soccer, skiing, and spending time with his wife, three sons, and beagle.

A board-certified ophthalmologist and fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Dr. Cho has been with the Tarantino Cho Eye Center since October 2006. She specializes in comprehensive ophthalmology and performs cataract surgery and other anterior segment procedures.
A Baltimore native, Dr. Cho graduated summa cum laude from Princeton University. She earned her medical degree from New York University in 2001. Her post-graduate training began with an internal medicine internship at North Shore University Hospital in New York, followed by an ophthalmology residency at the Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia. She then went on to complete a cornea fellowship at Tufts-New England Medical Center/Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston.
Dr. Cho’s research on cornea and refractive surgery and other ophthalmology topics has been presented at national society meetings and published in peer-reviewed journals and other publications. She has received Maryland Gazette Readers Choice awards several years in a row.
Dr. Cho lives in Baltimore with her husband and two daughters. In her free time she enjoys reading, running, skiing, and the great outdoors.

A TPA-certified optometrist who has been with Tarantino Cho Eye Center since 2012, Dr. Burroughs has been practicing optometry locally for over twenty years.
Dr. Burroughs’ began her post-secondary education with a B.S. degree in Medical Technology from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. After a brief career working in the medical technology field, she returned to graduate school completing an O.D. degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN.
Her areas of emphasis are primary eye care, treatment and management of ocular disease, and contact lenses.
In her spare time, Dr. Burroughs enjoys hiking, biking, reading, and spending time with her husband and son.

Dr. Maria Servinsky has been practicing optometry in Maryland since 2004. She is a board certified optometrist who provides comprehensive eye care including both routine vision and medical eye exams, as well as optometric management of ocular diseases such as glaucoma, dry eye, macular degeneration and cataracts. She also provides diabetic eye exams, contact lens fittings and co-management of cataract and refractive surgeries. Dr. Servinsky is a therapeutic licensed optometrist who is certified to prescribe ocular medications for glaucoma, eye infections and various other eye conditions.
Dr. Servinsky, originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, attended Washington and Jefferson College in Washington, PA where she earned her B.A. degree in Psychology. She graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, PA where she obtained a B.S. in Ocular Science as well as her Doctor of Optometry degree
Dr. Servinsky is a member of the American Optometric Association as well as the Maryland Optometric Association.
In her free time, Dr. Servinsky enjoys hiking, kayaking, doing jigsaw puzzles and spending time with her husband, daughter and son.
